Every year Hair Biz Forum graces us with its presents in Brisbane! Of course the team here are all over anything involving expanding our skill set and knowledge so we can bring our clients only the best up to date information!

Hair biz is brought to us by Mocha publishing and is an extensive collective of Business & Creative Genius's that are brought together to show us some of their talents on stage - this is a trade only event and see's stylists from all over visiting.

This year Myself, Holly & Kailee attended the extensive line up of industry icons that presented on stage, we were lucky enough to see new trends and past collections created right in front of our eyes with Laura Macleod & the Ruby Room and Gary Taylor an award winning UK Artist, we experienced a fast paced live photo shoot with Brad Ngata, an interview with a legend in the industry- Sharon Blain who is celebrating 50 years of hairdressing and watched Lance Liufau and his team not only cut amazing hair but also sing!

Yes us hairdressers may seem like a strange bunch but there is no denying that we put on a good show!!!

The stand out sessions that we enjoyed were definitely the Barbers who started out with a quirky number, showed us an epic Fade and some awesome cut throat art and finished off with another great song performance.

Also Gary Taylor had some awesome Hair to show us super creative and its always great to hear how the industry is going in other countries.

Another stand out was the Sustainable salons Australia which is a group i have personally been keeping an eye out for!! They are now expanding to QLD Happy Days!!!
